For the third year in a row, the Department of Physical Education at An-Najah National University hosted on Thursday 5/10/2017 the male swimming championships for schools in Nablus governorate, where the championship was held in the swimming pool of the Physical Education building on the new campus . knowing that the pool have an international standards .

Prof. Dr. Imad Abdul Haq, Head of Physical Education at the University, assured that the tournament held annually at An-Najah National University is an indication of the continuous cooperation and cooperation between An-Najah National University and the Palestinian National Authority institutions, especially the Ministry of Education.for what it offers to The university students in schools while performing the practicum course.

Dr. Abdulhak pointed out that this tournament is one of the most important competitions organized by the Ministry of Education in all governorates in order to participate in the international tournaments held annually in Lebanon, stressing at the same time that the graduates of the Department of Physical Education at An-Najah University is on a high level of This training thats why this tournament is based on physical education teachers, most of whom are graduates of the Physical Education Department at An-Najah National University.

At the end of the tournament, Dr. Abdelhak participated in handing over the cups to the winners of the first places.

It is worth mentioning that the Department of Physical Education will host the female swimming championship for schools in Nablus governorate on Sunday, 8/10/2017
