Dr. Alia Al Assali, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education at the University, participated in the first meeting of the 2017 Palestinian Teacher's Arbitration Committee for this year's award. The meeting was held at the Creativity Center of the Teacher with the membership of Dr. Asali and Dr. Ahmed Fiteheh Birzeit, Ms. Siham Salma from the Department of Supervision in the Ministry of Education, and Ms. Hala Al-Qabaj from the Teacher Creativity Center. The meeting was moderated by Mr. Hazem Abu Jazar, Director of the Education Development Authority at the Ministry of Education. The meeting tackled the mechanisms of the committee's work for the next stage and the criteria for choosing the Palestine 2017 teacher, which the Commission will announce accordingly.
