The Ministry of Culture, together with the Ministries of Women’s Affairs and Jerusalem Affairs, honored Dr. Adwan Nimer Adwan, a faculty member at the Faculty of Educational and Human Sciences at An-Najah National University, in recognition of his participation as a member of the judging panel for the Jerusalem Prize for Arab Women. The award was organized in cooperation between the three ministries.
Dr. Adwan was honored during the announcement ceremony for the winner of the Jerusalem Prize for Arab Women, specifically in the category of Arabic Novel.
The judging panel included a distinguished group of Arab writers and academics from Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, and the Sultanate of Oman, who contributed to evaluating the competing works according to rigorous literary criteria aimed at highlighting Arab women’s creativity.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Adwan has previously participated in judging the Palestinian State Prize and the Bethlehem University Award, and he has made significant contributions to the cultural and academic scene both within Palestine and internationally.
