In a first-of-its-kind achievement, An-Najah National University claimed three trophies at the English Language Olympiad (ELO). The university won the award for Best Innovative Scientific Research in English among participating Arab and international universities, in addition to first place in the English theatrical performance and third place in the English proficiency test.
This outstanding achievement was accomplished under the supervision of Mr. Amjad Al-Issa, Director of the Language Center, and Mr. Basel Abdul Razzaq, who oversaw the preparation and training of the two teams participating in the various competition tracks.
Ten female students from different university faculties participated in the competition:

Both teams successfully completed the different stages of the competition with competence and distinction.
It is worth noting that the English Language Olympiad (ELO) is held annually in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with broad participation from Arab and international universities, totaling over 58 teams. The Olympiad aims to enhance students’ English language skills and promote creativity and scientific research beyond the traditional classroom setting.
