The committee is tasked with evaluating applicants for research grants to be carried out at a number of partner Canadian universities. These grants aim to support Palestinian researchers and provide them with opportunities to engage in joint research projects with their Canadian counterparts, thereby contributing to the development of their research capacities and enhancing their academic presence at the international level.

It is worth noting that Dr. Hamdan was previously awarded this grant, during which he spent a research period at the University of Montreal in Canada. This experience significantly strengthened his scholarly output and enabled him to publish three peer-reviewed research articles in his area of specialization.

This participation comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to promote academic and research collaboration between Palestinian higher education institutions and their international counterparts, reflecting the active role of university faculty members in supporting joint scientific initiatives and engaging in academic and research exchange programs.
